Here's an interview with my friend Tiago, who was carjacked in Brazil at gunpoint, and saved his life and his friend's by taking care of the relationship. He followed Erickson's principle of accept and utilise. He focused on gaining and keeping the gunman's trust. Truly inspiring. A wonderful lesson for life ... and for therapy.
